Your Queens, Incorporated Rite of Passage Program (ROP) was created to provide a noted transition for girls from one phase to another (childhood to adolescence, adolescence to young adult or young adult to adulthood). This program is designed to provide girls and young women the knowledge and habits that enable them to prepare themselves culturally, spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally for the successful passage into womanhood.
GOALS
Support girls and young women’s awareness of African lineage.
Enlighten awareness to every aspect of girls and young women’s contributions to society.
Use various strategies to develop the cognitive, social, emotional and physical attributes of the girls and young women
