"We have just acquired a home to build a community center dedicated to inspiring the community through creative and cultural expression. Our goal is to restore the house into a safe and inclusive space where individuals can gather, participate in mentorship programs, attend dance classes, and experience the work of artists."
Our programs will include:
Programs
Rite of Passage/Mentorship Program: This program is designed to guide youth through critical life transitions, providing mentorship and support as they navigate the challenges of growing up. Our experienced mentors will provide guidance, support, and encouragement, helping young people build the skills and confidence they need to succeed.
Dance Classes: Our dance classes are designed to build self-confidence and foster creative expression. Our experienced instructors will provide instruction in a variety of dance styles, helping students to find their own unique voice through movement.
Lectures: Our lectures provide a platform for individuals to share their experiences, knowledge, and perspectives on a variety of topics related to the arts and culture. Our goal is to encourage thought-provoking discussions and foster a sense of community among our participants.
Sewing Classes: Our sewing classes provide individuals with the opportunity to learn a new skill, create beautiful projects, and connect with others who share their interests. Our experienced instructors will guide participants through the process of creating their own designs, helping them to develop their skills and express their creativity.
Edutainment- Booking YQ: Our edutainment program provides a platform for artists to showcase their talents and connect with the community. We will book talented musicians, poets, and other performers to share their work and engage with our audience.
Self Esteem Classes for Battered Women: Our self-esteem classes are designed to help battered women build their confidence, find their voice, and reclaim their lives. Our experienced instructors will provide support and guidance, helping participants to rebuild their self-esteem and move forward with their lives.
Gathering for Seniors: Our gatherings for seniors provide a platform for seniors to connect with each other, participate in activities, and enjoy the arts. Our goal is to foster a sense of community and provide seniors with opportunities to engage with the arts.
7. Inclusion Space for Children/Adults with Disabilities- Our inclusive environment offers a safe haven where individuals with disabilities can connect, communicate, and express themselves creatively through various artistic mediums.
